Places I've been; Greece!

The very recent holiday I have gone on was a trip to Greece for a week with my boyfriend, to be more specific we went to Faliraki which was right next to Rhodes. In this blog I am going to give a little review of the place I went to and what to see if you do go, hope you enjoy!:)

Budget:

So when it comes to how much money should you be taking with you on a holiday is very dependant on how flexible you are, where you will be looking to stay and whether you are going to be looking to eat and drink in top-end establishments. I personally recommend going on a all inclusive holiday so that you don't have to worry about where to eat everyday or how much you need to spend. All inclusive just makes your life on holiday a whole lot easier as everything is there for you. So, of course if you are not going on an all inclusive holiday you will need a lot more spending money as you will have to buy food, however if you are going full board then the amount you want to take just depends on how many things you want to visit while in Greece. Overall the attractions don't require a lot of spending money;taxis and buses are cheap and when it comes to visiting different islands they are about 40euro depending on where you want to go. My personal tip if you do go to Greece don't just stay in one place, because its definitely worth visiting different islands just for that little bit more adventure!

Quick guide on where to go:
So as I mentioned you can go on different trips while in Greece (Rhodes) so I am now going to tell you the places I visited that I thought were definitely worth the money.

1. First of all most exciting trip me and my boyfriend have go on was taking a ferry across to Turkey for a day (YES Turkey! two holidays in one!) that was such an amazing experience we have visited Marmaris in Turkey which took about 40min to get there. We were amazed at this opportunity as it allowed us to be in not only in two different countries on one holiday, but also in two different continents!
On the way there:
Couldn't help put take lots of pictures of the views
on the way to Turkey!

I tried taking a decent picture, but the wind just
decided to ruin it all haha!

 In Turkey:

2. Next, worth visiting is the water park in Faliraki the link to their website is http://www.water-park.gr/, the water park was huge and known to be the largest water park in Europe and had so many amazing slides and activities. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice! Best thing to do is buy the tickets when you get there which are only 24 euros for children over 12 years.

3. Another must visit while in Rhodes in definitely Lindos which again is a ferry trip and the
best thing about this is, while you are on the ferry they offer activities such as jumping of into the water and swimming in the beautiful blue water. Once you get there you have 4 hours to spend on the Lindos Island and do whatever you want. If I'm honest that was probably the most beautiful island I have ever seen just because, of how blue and clear the water was.
Do you now see what I mean about the beautiful blue water!!

5. And of course the city of Rhodes itself which is known for its beautiful historical features, so if you love visiting old places and enjoy the Greek city atmosphere then that is the one for you.

6. Overall there are a lot more other activities and places to visit than this but I'd have to be writing forever to cover them all!

Nightlife:
Greece is perfect for both family holidays and also holidays where you want to experience the night life. Faliraki is known for its famous and rich party life. When we went there was lots of clubs and the streets were full of people so the atmosphere was always great and lively at night!

Hope this post has helped to make your mind up on where to go on holiday. I know myself what a nightmare it is looking for a perfect holiday! Let me know if you have any other questions about this holiday which I have not covered.
Thank you for reading, until next time (I promise to post more often from now) xxx
